
The fade-ins were made with Layer Masks. I hadn't really used layer masks since late 2000 when I was still working with The GIMP for everything except the lettering, but I found the layer mask implementation in Paint Shop Pro 8 easy enough to use.

I guess this fading's supposed to indicate a time lapse to speed up the storytelling? I think I don't like it. [The fading, not the time lapse.] It looks like a shimmy blot of fog hovering over the page. I enjoy reading your courtroom drama, however. Keep up the good work! :)
