This could well be the longest footnote in any comic.

This page shows the hand of Emiel Hoving. I'm not sure after 16 years how much of the work was his, but probably quite a lot. You can tell because the original words fit the original balloons, and the translated words still fit the balloons without any need to redraw.

This page also had some of Emiel's work in it, though most of the art and writing were clearly mine.

I have no idea what I was thinking with that intertwined panel border stuff.

I still enjoy the threading of panels in this page.

So much to like about this page. I love the title, which has nothing whatsoever to do with the events. I love the self-portrait on the top. I love the girl's old-fashioned phone (showing that this has dated like all SF eventually does). And I love the mention of anvils in this translated version. I like anvils. Anvils make a comic 51% funnier. I have proven it with science.

The steam organ was probably drawn by Emiel.

And thus ends Exp!Zworp's attempt at derailing the plot. The pointlessness here was deliberate.

What happened to X!Gloop's headphones? Who cares? I fart in the general direction of continuity!

The book Lord Dwarps was reading in the original was "My Life" by Myrna Goossens. Of course, no one even in the fairly limited section of the world population who knew Myrna Goossens then remembers her now (in fact, the absurdity of a celebrity autobiography by a nobody like that was what made it work as a joke) so I updated it to refer to Davina McCall instead.
